About Me!

I am a growing fashion designer with a concentration in evening wear and historical costuming, I want to apply my knowledge and skills for continuous improvement. With my great love for fashion history and the exploration of historical places, I endeavor to bring a modern take as I reference the historical aspect in my work.

My story…

I am a graduate of fashion design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) class of 2022.

I grew up in a small town about an hour northeast of Charlotte, NC. In this town, fashion really is not a topic of discussion as most of the people just wear jeans and T-shirts or flannels because it really is just a small farming town. Nothing to see. Nothing to do. It was because of this and of course not fitting in since I loved fashion and wanted to design and make nice clothes that I knew one day I would have to get out of there and start my own journey and path in life.

My start in fashion design came from fashion illustrating and styling when I was just 10 years old. As I grew and my styles changed I learned that that was not the path for me and that I was better at and more into garment construction and more technical work as I have always been really great at mathematics and geometry. When it comes to design and my work, I have always leaned more toward the path of evening and formal wear but have recently been trying to branch out and try new things such as everyday wear. Also, as mentioned before, I have a love for historical fashion and incorporating that into my style as well as designing and working with costumes of all kind, especially historical costumes.
